The "fundamental" upgrades of PM2 at Gruvon and PM7 at Skarblacka will improve quality and increase efficiency. "The market-driven investments we are now making concerning our paper machines is in line with our revised strategy and will help us to further strengthen our positions in our prioritised segments and application areas," commented Per Lindberg, president and CEO of Billerud. Billerud, headquartered in Solna, Sweden, provides packaging materials and solutions for both consumer and industrial packaging. The company has production facilities in Sweden and the United Kingdom. Billerud is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
