Finnish trade group Kesko Corporation reported on Tuesday (1 August) an operating profit of EUR239m on net sales of EUR4.47bn for the financial period January-June 2006.
Both operating profit and net sales for the six-month period increased, respectively from EUR142m and EUR3.91bn, as compared to the corresponding period in 2005.
Operating profit for the quarter April-June 2006 amounted to EUR90m on net sales of EUR2.40bn.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.68 British pounds (GBP).
