Finnish industrial group Larox Corporation said on Monday (4 September) that it had been awarded in the July quarter new orders worth EUR6.7m to supply 15 filters to chemical and mining companies in Chile, Colombia, Mexico, the USA, Germany, Denmark, Kazakhstan and China.
Deliveries will take place at the end of this year and during the first quarter of 2007.
The largest order, worth some EUR1.5m, consists of two Pannevis Vacuum Belt Filters with ancillaries, spares and a two-year service contract for the boric acid plant of Quimica e Industrial del Borax Limitada (Quiborax) in Chile.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.68 British pounds (GBP).
