Nordic Business Report-February 5, 2007-Acta Holding ASAs property portfolios invest NOK5bn in Sweden, Finland and the US (C)1994-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com Norwegian investment adviser Acta Holding ASA said on Monday (5 February) that its Nordic property portfolios, Naeringsbygg Holding 3 AS (NBH) and Kommersiella Fastigheter Holding 3 AB (KFH), have entered into agreements to acquire properties for a total of nearly NOK5bn in Sweden, Finland and the US. In Sweden NBH and KFH are investing NOK3.5bn in purchasing 12 logistics and distribution properties from Kuwait Finance House. The properties are mainly located in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo, and most of them are used as mail terminals by Swedish postal services provider Posten AB. NBH and KFH are also acquiring the Centralhotellet Gavle hotel property in Gavle in Sweden for NOK135m. In Finland the companies have agreed to purchase a portfolio of four retail properties. The NOK210m deal covers a total of 17,000 square metres in Lahti, Hameenlinna, Kemi, and Masku. In the US NBH and KFH have signed a joint venture agreement with Tishman Speyer regarding the purchase of an 80% stake in the One Alliance Center office building in Atlanta. The US deal is worth NOK1.1bn. Acta Holding, headquartered in Stavanger, is an investment adviser and property investor with some NOK66bn in assets under management. The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and traded under the ticker ACTA. One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 12.17 Norwegian kroner (NOK).
