The Swedish industrial equipment group Atlas Copco said on Monday (8 May) that its Canadian unit Atlas Copco Canada Inc has completed its previously announced acquisition of Canadian drilling consumables manufacturer Thiessen Team Mining Products from Thiessen Equipment Ltd.
Thiessen Team Mining Products, based in Vancouver, manufactures consumables for rotary drilling and raise boring. It has 142 employees and annual revenues of approximately SEK160m.
The acquired operations will be integrated into Atlas Copco as part of Secoroc division within the business area Atlas Copco Construction and Mining Technique.
The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
