The third quarter operating profit amounted to DKK1,810m, as compared to DKK1,571m in the third quarter last year. Net revenues amounted to DKK11,547m, up from DKK10,714m in the third quarter last year. Sales were driven by a positive trend in western Europe and volume growth within Baltic Beverage Holding, Carlsbergs joint venture with Scottish & Newcastle, as well as in Asia. Carlsberg adjusted upward its full-year operating profit forecast by DKK150m to DKK3.9bn. Carlsberg is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company has over 30,000 employees at 92 production sites in 48 countries. Carlsberg is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Copenhagen.
