The Norwegian oil and offshore investor Sinvest ASA said on Thursday (14 September) that its subsidiary Deep Drilling 3 Pte Ltd has, together with Premium Drilling, received a USD82m drilling contract in Southeast Asia.
The contract, awarded by a major oil company, will be carried out by Premium Drilling using the Deep Driller 3 unit.
The contract covers a firm period of 12 months, but can be extended by up to two additional 12-month periods.
One US dollar (USD) is worth approximately 0.52 British pounds (GBP).
