Nordic Business Report-December 12, 2006-Din Bostad Sverige AB acquires residential properties in Helsingborg (C)1994-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com Swedish property company Din Bostad Sverige AB said on Monday (11 December) that it has agreed to acquire a portfolio of 11 residential properties in Helsingborg, Sweden. The SEK160m deal covers a total of 16,319 square metres. The transaction establishes Din Bostad in Helsingborg and strengthens the companys position in the Skane region in southern Sweden. "Through the acquisition we receive an important base for continued expansion in Helsingborg and Skane, a region we regard as important for Din Bostads continued growth," commented Mikael Granath, managing director of Din Bostad. Din Bostad, headquartered in Gothenburg in Sweden, focuses on acquiring, managing and developing residential properties. The recently established company was created when the former biotech company Tripep divested its operations and entered a new business area.
