Dortmund: In yesterday's meeting, the Supervisory Board of ELMOS Semiconductor AG (FSE: ELG) appointed Nicolaus Graf von Luckner as Chief Financial Officer. Luckner will assume this newly created office as of July 1, 2006. Following the death of CEO of many years, Knut Hinrichs, the financial section of the Management Board is thus once again represented by a person with a commercial background.
Currently, Luckner is CFO of the division Infotainment Solutions at Siemens VDO. In this position he made a significant contribution to the integration of various divisions stemming from Siemens, VDO and Philips while at the same time successfully executing the financial, economical and organizational consolidation. Prior to that, Luckner was responsible for various business areas such as Commercial Managing Director.
Overall, he can look back on 27 years of professional experience in the automotive arena. Following a first chapter at VDO, at that time still a corporate entity in its own right, he spent eight years as Managing Director at a medium-sized company prior to rejoining VDO respectively Siemens VDO to go on with his professional career. Luckner studied economics at the University of Kiel.

Luckner will be presented to the public at today's seventh Annual General Meeting of ELMOS Semiconductor AG.

Dr. Klaus Weyer, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, will leave the Management Board effective end of 2006. Dr. Weyer shall become a Supervisory Board member in 2007.
As of July 1, 2006, the Management Board will consist of the following members: Dr. Anton Mindl (49), Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Klaus Weyer (57), Chief Technology Officer, Reinhard Senf (54), Management Board member responsible for production, Dr. Frank Rottmann (47), Management Board member responsible for sales and development and Nicolaus Graf von Luckner (57), Chief Financial Officer.
