The Swedish ITC environments contractor ENACO AB said on Friday (13 October) that it has agreed to acquire technology consulting company Sonika AB .

The purchase price was not disclosed, but ENACO said that the payment would mainly be in ENACO shares.

Sonika focuses on project management services for technology focused projects. The company has 11 employees and has an annual turnover of approximately SEK10.7m.

Sonika will continue operations as a separate unit until August 2007, when ENACO expects to conclude the ongoing streamlining of its company structure. Under the new structure ENACO's Swedish operations will be organised in two operating companies, ENACO Sverige AB and Sonika AB. ENACO currently comprises six companies in Sweden.

ENACO builds and maintains physical ITC environments, such as server halls, as well as office systems. The company has operations in Sweden and Denmark, and is expected to achieve a turnover of approximately SEK140m in 2006.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.70 Swedish kronor (SEK).
