Endwave Corporation (Nasdaq:ENWV), a provider of high-frequency RF modules,announced on Monday (30 January) a recently executed follow-on contract with Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia (NYSE:NOK) for the continued production of Endwave's current and next-generation transceivers. The purchase agreement is effective from 1 January 2006 and is a continuation of the previous multi-year agreement between the companies, which concluded on 31 December 2005. Endwave said that the new purchase agreement has "evergreen" status, as it does not provide for an expiration date and may only be terminated by either party upon 18 months' prior written notice or upon the occurrence of certain events listed in the purchase agreement. The new agreement with Nokia covers the terms and conditions of the sale of various Endwave transceiver products that are used as the core RF module for Nokia's FlexiHopper and FlexiHopper Plus microwave radios. Financial details of the contract were not available.
