Finnish-based European machinery and equipment rental group Cramo Plc said on Tuesday (2 January) that its wholly-owned Norwegian subsidiary Cramo AS has agreed to acquire equipment rental firm Hamar Liftutleie AS.
Hamar Liftutleie, active in the Mjos region in Norway, has five employees and is expected to achieve sales of NOK15m in 2006.
The acquired company will continue operations under its old name.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Cramo, headquartered in Vantaa in Finland, is one of Europes largest equipment rental groups with 1,800 employees in 11 countries. Cramo is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Helsinki.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 12.17 Norwegian kroner (NOK).
