The Danish bank Fionia Bank issued its first quarter report on Tuesday (2 May), posting a pre-tax result of DKK78.5m, as compared to DKK56.3m in the first quarter of 2005.
Net income from interest and fees amounted to DKK166.7m, as compared to DKK167.9m in the first quarter last year.
One Danish krone (DKK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).
