Icelandic investment group FL Group said on Monday (3 July) that it has joined forces with Baugur Group and Kevin Stanford in the investment company Unity Investment ehf.
Unity will be owned 37.5% by FL Group, 37.5% by Baugur Group and 25% by Kevin Stanford, and will focus on strategic investments within listed companies in the United Kingdom retail sector.
The consortium members have transferred their holdings in a number of UK-based companies to Unity, which now owns holdings in French Connection (20%), Moss Bros (28.5%) and Woolworths (12%).
