The Swedish automation solutions provider FlexLink AB said on Wednesday (17 May) that it has agreed to acquire Canadian company TOPS Conveyor Systems for an undisclosed sum.
TOPS Conveyor Systems, based in Burlington, Ontario, provides automation solutions for material handling. The company has 30 employees and reported a turnover of CAD8.2m in 2005.
After the acquisition the company will continue operations under the new name FlexLink Systems Canada Inc.
One Canadian dollar (CAD) is worth approximately 0.49 British pounds (GBP).
