Danish headsets and audiologic diagnostics equipment maker GN Store Nord A/S announced on Monday (15 May) that its two headset businesses, GN Netcom and GN Mobile, would be joining forces to create the world's largest manufacturer of headsets.
The move would enable GN to effectively work the converging markets and retain global leadership, according to the company.
The combination would integrate functions of the two business areas that previously operated independently: sales, marketing, development and parts of the administrative operations.
The changes would not influence GN's current 2006 forecast for its headset operations, the company added.
