The Swedish fashion group Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) issued on Wednesday (29 March) its report for the three month period December 2005-February 2007, posting an operating profit of SEK2,574m, as compared to SEK2,204m for the corresponding period a year earlier.
The group turnover excluding VAT amounted to SEK15,071m, up by 20% from SEK12,610m.
H&M also revealed plans to establish a store in Athens, Greece during the spring of 2007.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
