The Swedish fashion chain KappAhl AB issued on Monday (2 October) its report for the financial year 2005/2006, posting a record operating profit of SEK530m, as compared to SEK403m in the financial year 2004/2005.
The result was boosted by SEK22m in released customer reserves.
Net sales amounted to SEK4,217m, up from SEK3,945m.
The increase in sales reflects an increase in the number of stores. In comparable stores sales declined by 1%.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
