The Finnish elevators and escalators maker KONE Corporation announced on Monday (9 October) that it has decided to end the elevator component manufacturing activities in McKinney in Texas in the US.
The manufacturing activities will be transferred to KONE's new purpose-built plant in Torreon in Mexico.
The restructuring will affect some 55 employees in McKinney.
