Swedish IP set-top solutions provider Kreatel Communications AB said on Wednesday (8 February) that it had been selected by the Dutch telecomms group KPN to provide the IP-STB solution for its rollout of IPTV services. With the launch of IPTV services KPN completes its Triple Play TV offer, Kreatel said. The use of the Kreatel IP-STB System enables KPN to develop and deploy new value-adding services for IPTV over time. Currently KPN supplies more than 1.5 million customers with ADSL and is the largest broadband provider in the Netherlands.
