"Nintendo and Opera will introduce the full web browser into the Wii Channel Menu following the regional releases of the Wii console," Opera Software said. "Opera for Wii will become available to Wii users to browse the web from their consoles, though Nintendo has not set the release date for the browser at this time," Opera Software added. Opera Software on Monday also published its interim report for the third quarter, posting an operating loss of NOK6.8m, as compared to a loss of NOK5.1m in the third quarter of 2005. Third quarter revenues improved to NOK53.2m from NOK37.5m in the third quarter last year. The decline in earnings reflects a 68% increase in operating expenses, largely attributed to higher marketing costs and the companys expansion. Opera Software is headquartered is Oslo, Norway, and has some 350 employees. The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker OPERA.
