Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia said on Thursday (31 August) that it had signed an agreement to acquire the German mapping, routing and navigation software and services provider gate5 AG.
By acquiring gate5 Nokia will offer consumers maps, routing, navigation and other location-based applications on its mobile devices, the company said.
No financial information was provided.
