Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia (NYSE: NOK) announced on Thursday (8 February) that its Mobile Search application is now able to search for content stored on customers devices, ranging from e-mails, text messages and calendar entries to videos and music files.
Nokia Mobile Search indexes the information stored on compatible Nokia devices and then lets the user search to find what they want.
Nokia said that Nokia Mobile Search works with over 20 partners from around the world and is available in more than 40 languages.
Nokia Mobile Search with My Content search is available as a free download from the Nokia website, for compatible Nokia devices.
Nokia, headquartered in Espoo in Finland, is a global mobile phone and network equipment manufacturer. It has nearly 59,000 employees worldwide. Nokia is listed on the Helsinki, Stockholm, Frankfurt and New York stock exchanges.
