The Danish biotechnology company Novozymes A/S said on Thursday (6 July) that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of United Kingdom based company Delta Biotechnology Ltd from Sanofi-Aventis.
Delta Biotechnology develops microbially produced recombinant proteins for the pharmaceuticals industry. The company has 106 employees and reported sales of DKK100m in 2005.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
One Danish krone (DKK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).
