Pöyry's Energy business group has been awarded the construction and supply contracts for the upgrade and refurbishment of two gas-fired boilers by Glow Energy Public Co., Ltd. The value of the assignment is EUR 1.6 million and it will be executed over a period of seven months.

The assignment includes the construction and supply services for two gas-fired boilers of a boiler plant located in the Eastern Industrial Estate in Map Ta Phut, Rayong Province, Thailand. The aim of the project is to secure the steam supply from the boilers having a capacity of 125 tonnes per hour as well as to improve plant availability.

Glow Energy Public Co., Ltd. is a publicly listed company in Thailand. Its major shareholder is Tractebel EGI, Belgium, which is a business division of the SUEZ group, one of the largest international industrial and services groups in the world.
