Nordic Business Report-January 9, 2007-RBS Nordisk Renting AB signs property deal with Norwegian utility Hafslund ASA (C)1994-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com The Sweden-based Nordic property company RBS Nordisk Renting AB said on Monday (8 January) that its Norwegian arm has acquired 15 properties in Oslo, Norway from Hafslund Varme og Infrastruktur AS, part of the utility Hafslund ASA. In connection with the NOK361m transaction the parties also signed a 15-year leasing contract. The transaction covers mainly power sub-stations and land. RBS Nordisk Renting, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden focuses on leasing properties to financially strong companies and public authority partners in Sweden, Norway and Finland. The companys property portfolio is valued at some SEK21bn. RBS Nordisk Renting is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Royal Bank of Scotland. One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 12.17 Norwegian kroner (NOK). One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.38 Swedish kronor (SEK).
