Norwegian oil and gas exploration and production company Revus Energy ASA announced on Thursday (8 February) that it has agreed to increase its stake in Production Licence 344 on the Norwegian continental shelf.
The agreement, signed with Statoil ASA, means that Revus Energy will increase its stake in the licence from the current 78% to 100%, and that it will take over operatorship for the licence.
Revus Energy has committed to drilling at least one exploration well on the licence during the next two years.
Revus Energy, headquartered in Stavanger, is an independent oil company active on the Norwegian continental shelf. The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and traded under the ticker REVUS.
