Finnish media group SanomaWSOY Corporation said on Monday (11 September) that its division Sanoma Magazines had acquired through its subsidiary, Uitgevers Maatschappij, the Belgian magazine publisher EPN International.
EPN International is said to be Belgium's leading niche publisher in the home and decoration segment and market leader in the green and hobby segment. It publishes 17 magazines in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The consolidated net sales of EPN International amounted to EUR10.6m in 2005.
The acquisition price was not disclosed.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.67 British pounds (GBP).
