Scandinavian airline SAS Group said on Wednesday (29 March) that it would expand its cooperation with Swiss International Air Lines when the company joins the Star Alliance at the beginning of April.
As of 6 April the two airlines' timetables between Scandinavia and Switzerland would be coordinated and all flights would have both carriers' route numbers, on a codeshare basis.
As a result, the companies' customers would gain access to an increased number of departures, SAS said.
Within the SAS Group, Blue1 and Spanair would also enter into codeshare cooperation with the Swiss airline.
