Swedish construction group Skanska said on Thursday (11 January) that it has secured an assignment to build a new office complex in Bergen, Norway.
The assignment, valued at NOK271m, was awarded by Nonnen Utbygging AS, part of the real-estate company Entra Eiendom AS.
The project comprises the construction of two buildings of 14 and 11 floors, respectively. The 17,000 square metre complex is scheduled for completion in June 2008.
Skanska, headquartered in Solna, Sweden, is a construction group with some 54,000 employees in Europe, the US and Latin America. Skanska is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 12.17 Norwegian kroner (NOK).
