The Norwegian regional savings bank Sparebanken Hardanger said on Thursday (14 September) that it has decided to join the Norwegian savings bank alliance SpareBank 1.
Sparebanken Hardanger will join SpareBanken 1 through investing NOK47m in a stake in Samarbeidende Sparebanker AS, which has a 19.5% holding in SpareBank 1 Gruppen AS.
One Norwegian krone (NOK) is worth approximately 0.08 British pounds (GBP).
