The Swedish data, voice and video network devices developer SwitchCore AB said on Tuesday (10 October) that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe.
The companies are to cooperate in providing advanced solutions for converged Metro, Access and Core networks, and have as a first step demonstrated technology combining Fujitsu's Ethernet-over-SDH/Sonet device MB87M2181 and SwitchCore's Ethernet switch CXE-2139.
