The owners of Denmark's largest privately-owned dairy, Tholstrup Cheese, are reportedly close to a sale of the company.
According to the online edition of the Danish business newspaper Borsen, potential buyers have already submitted binding offers for the company.
The sales price is likely to be around DKK0.5bn.
Tholstrup Cheese produces cheese and pasta under the brands Castello, Saga and Pastella. The company has three dairies and a pasta factory in Denmark, one dairy in the US, and sales operations in Germany, Sweden, the US, Norway and Finland. Tholstrup Cheese has 470 employees and an a turnover of DKK835m.
One Danish krone (DKK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).
