Finnish-Swedish IT company TietoEnator Corporation said on Thursday (21 September) that it had been chosen by the German telecomms operator O2 (Germany) GmbH & Co OHG, a subsidiary of the O2 Group, to upgrade its current customer service platform by migrating it to Voice over IP (VoIP).
O2 has also decided to implement an IP contact centre suite integrated into its business applications.
As general contractor and system integrator TietoEnator will develop the customer services IT solution on the basis of network and contact centre applications from Cisco and Genesys.
