Norwegian ERP and CRM software and services provider Visma AS said on Thursday (11 January) that it has acquired Dutch software company AccountView BV.
The purchase price was not revealed.
AccountView develops accounting and auditing software for small and medium sized businesses. The company has 18,000 customers and a sales network of more than 100 partners. Its revenues are expected to amount to some EUR14m in 2007.
The acquisition represents Vismas "first real step outside the Nordic region" and is part of its strategy to become a pan-European provider of financial and accounting software.
Visma Group, headquartered in Oslo in Norway, has more than 80 offices in the Nordic countries and Poland. The company has over 2,400 employees and annual revenues of approximately EUR280m. Visma is owned by the UK private equity fund HgCapital.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.49 euros (EUR).
