The Norwegian insurer Vital Forsikring ASA issued on Thursday (10 August) its second quarter report, posting a pre-tax result of NOK763m, as compared to NOK583m in the second quarter of 2005.
Premium income improved from NOK10,768m in the second quarter of 2005 to NOK12,050m, while income from financial assets improved from NOK7,311m to NOK11,268m.
One Norwegian krone (NOK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).
