The Swedish trucks, buses, construction equipment and engines manufacturer AB Volvo said on Thursday (7 September) that its subsidiary Volvo Penta would invest some SEK100m in the engine plant in Vara.
The investment would increase the plant's current capacity to some 18,000 diesel engines per year.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
