Finnish media group Alma Media Corporation said on Wednesday (14 June) that its subsidiary Kustannus Oy Aamulehti would cancel its book unit, Aamulehti Kirjat, by the end of the year.
The unit would still publish four books during autumn 2006, but it has no new publishing contracts for 2007.
The unit has started personnel negotiations regarding its three employees.
