The Swedish-Danish dairy group Arla Foods said on Tuesday (10 October) that it plans to close its juice production facility in Alingsas, Sweden and to transfer the operations to its subsidiary Rynkeby Foods in Ringe, Denmark.

Arla Foods said that the planned reorganisation is aimed at ensuring long-term cost efficiency and a competitive juice production for Arla Foods in the Nordic region.

The Alingsas facility has 100 employees.
