The Swedish industrial group Atlas Copco said on Monday (28 August) that its German unit Atlas Copco Holding GmbH has acquired the industrial tool manufacturer Microtec Systems GmbH for an undisclosed sum.
Microtec Systems provides advanced electric tightening tools for the electronics industry. The company has 18 employees and reported a turnover of EUR2m in 2005.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.68 British pounds (GBP).
