Norwegian LPG and LNG carriers operator Bergesen Worldwide Gas ASA said on Monday (11 December) that it has sold the part-owned vessel Helice to an Indian buyer for USD60m.
The Helice, built in 1991, is a 57,206 cbm liquefied gas carrier.
The transaction will result in a book gain of USD11.6m in the fourth quarter.
Bergesen Worldwide Gas, headquartered in Oslo in Norway, is a leading global provider of gas marine transportation services. It has some 1,560 employees and operates a fleet of nearly 100 vessels. Bergesen Worldwide Gas is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and traded under the ticker GAS.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.91 US dollars (USD).
