Swedish health and medical care group Capio AB said on Monday (21 August) that it had signed an agreement to acquire the German healthcare group Deutsche Klinik GmbH.
Deutsche Klinik is a private healthcare group owning five hospitals and operating an additional seven facilities under management contracts throughout Germany, Capio said.
The acquisition price was valued at EUR34m.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.68 British pounds (GBP).
