Finnish cargo-handling solutions provider Cargotec Corporation said on Thursday (14 September) that its Kalmar business area had made an agreement to acquire its Belgian distributor Catracom.
Catracom has been distributing Kalmar equipment since 1985, and employs about 100 people. The company has net sales of some EUR70m.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction value.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.67 British pounds (GBP).
