CashGuard signed a partnership agreement with the German company Pharmatechnik. Under the terms of this agreement, Pharmatechnik will market and sell CashGuard's products and solutions to German pharmacies, as well as handling service and support for the installed systems. The German pharmacy market consists of more than 20,000 pharmacies and Pharmatechnik is a leading supplier of IT-solutions to the market. A key phase in CashGuard's internationalisation has been to achieve greater penetration in the German market for secure and fully automated cash handling systems. Opportunities in this regard will increase greatly when the partnership agreement with Pharmatechnik comes into effect. "With the signing of this agreement, we have taken a major step towards being able to penetrate the German market more effectively - particularly the pharmacy market, which we regard as extremely promising," says CashGuard President Agne Pettersson.
