The Sweden-based Scandinavian retail group Coop Norden AB issued on Monday (19 June) its figures for the first four months of the year, posting an operating loss of SEK46m, as compared to a loss of SEK157m in the first four months of 2005.
The continued negative result is due to Coop's Swedish operations, which reported a loss of SEK224m, as compared to a loss of SEK266m in the corresponding period last year.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
