Nordic Business Report-November 13, 2006-Danish aircraft spare parts distributor Satair A/S posts Q1 EBIT of USD4.6m (C)1994-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com Denmark-based international aircraft spare parts distributor Satair A/S issued on Monday (13 November) its interim report for the first quarter of the financial year 2006/2007, posting an operating profit (EBIT) of USD4.6m, as compared to USD3.5m in the first quarter of 2005/2006. Revenues amounted to USD82.8m, up from USD59.5m in the corresponding period a year before. The growth was boosted by new acquisitions in the US and Asia. Satair said that the delays in the production of the new Airbus A380 is expected to have only a moderate impact in the current financial year. "The exploitation of the attractive business opportunities within Satairs business areas is expected to compensate for the decline in revenues caused by the production of A380," Satair said. Satair, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, is the worlds leading distributor of aircraft spare parts.
