Nordic Business Report-December 8, 2006-Ementor ASA divests non-core operations in Denmark (C)1994-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com Norway-based pan-Nordic IT infrastructure provider Ementor ASA said on Thursday (7 December) that it has agreed to sell the operations of the Danish subsidiary Ementor Danmark A/S in three separate transactions valued at a total of NOK107m. The systems development and integration operations with 85 employees and an annual turnover of DKK80m will be acquired by Traen Informationssystemer A/S. The acquired operations will continue under the name Ementor Danmark as an independent subsidiary of the Traen group. Ementor Danmarks SAP-related operations with 38 employees and a turnover of DKK60m will be acquired by IBM Danmark A/S. The Oracle-related operations with 16 employees and a turnover of DKK15m will be acquired by Consit A/S. Ementor Danmarks IT infrastructure-related activities are already integrated into Ementors main Danish arm, Topnordic, and will not be sold. The divestments are part of Ementors strategy to focus on its core business of providing products and services within IT infrastructure. Ementor is headquartered in Oslo, Norway. The group has 3,200 employees an operations in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Latvia. Ementor is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and traded under the ticker EME.
