The Icelandic drilling contractor Jardboranir (Iceland Drilling) said on Monday (25 September) that it has signed a new ISK3.7bn drilling contract with Reykjavik Energy Company.
The new contract, one of the largest in Iceland, covers drilling in the Hellisheidi and Hengil areas.
One Icelandic krona (ISK) is worth approximately 0.008 British pounds (GBP).
