The orders received during 2006 from the customer, an unnamed truck manufacturer, represent annual revenues of NOK50m over five years. "The new contracts for our stabiliser products are positioning us in the forefront within this segment in Europe, and give a good basis for increasing our market share both in Europe and globally," said Bard Klungseth, Executive Vice President at Kongsberg Automotive. Kongsberg Automotive on Friday also announced that it has received an order for air couplings from a leading trailers manufacturer. This contract is valued at NOK35m per year. In addition Kongsberg Automotive disclosed that it is in final negotiations with a leading brake system maker regarding an order for air couplings manufactured in composite. Kongsberg Automotive, based in Kongsberg, Norway, develops and manufactures seat comfort, clutch actuation and gearshift systems, air couplings and stabilising rods. The company has 2,700 employees and production in nine countries. Annual sales amount to approximately NOK2.7bn. Kongsberg Automotive Holding is listed on Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker KOA.
