Nordic Business Report-September 5, 2006-Nordea Finland raises savings account interest rate

Nordea Finland, part of the pan-Nordic financial group Nordea, said on Tuesday (5 September) that it will raise the interest rate on its Growth Account by 0.4 percentage points in all deposit grades.
The increase becomes effective on 1 October 2006, after which the interest paid will vary between 1.50% and 2.40% depending on the deposit amount.
The last raise in the interest was made at the beginning of May 2006.
